God Is Doing Something New Through Expansion

Our Trauma-Healing Series for Children Across the Middle East

Life Focus Expands Children’s Trauma Healing Broadcast on Kooji TV

Life Focus meets with Koogi Network, the largest Arabic children’s network in the Middle East, with a reach to over  90 million children. The leaders here, under the direction of Bishop Marcos, will broadcast  Leah Kida?—which means “Why is life like this?”

This 13-part Arabic-language program is based on the lives of three children living in Cairo who experience common problems found in this region.  Through their interaction with Gido, the friendly grandfather who lives on the roof they discover to understand and cope with their problems.  He guides them using best psychology and biblical practices.  Watch a preview of the episode here:

Children discuss their problems with each other before they meet Gido

Gido, their kind Elder, teaches the children how to grieve well.

(L-R) Heba, the trauma healing facilitator, welcomes Nada, Lobna, and Nahma to her home as they learn how to understand and heal from trauma.

Why This Matters

Life Focus Expands Children’s Trauma Healing Broadcast on Kooji TV

Children in the Middle East face overwhelming challenges—conflict, instability, loss, fear, and uncertainty. Very few resources exist in Arabic that speak directly to their emotional and spiritual needs.

Leah Kida? fills that gap by offering:

  • Biblically grounded healing tools designed specifically for children
  • A safe place for young viewers to explore hard questions
  • Representation, featuring families who look like them and live where they live
  • Hope in Jesus, who brings peace, healing, and answers to life’s hardest moments

Just listen to what some of our children viewers have to say about Leah Kida?

This Arabic-speaking series blends real-life stories, psychology and biblical wisdom to inspire hope and healing from trauma.

AlHorrya will begin airing Healing Hearts for Women beginning January 2026

This year marked a significant milestone with the completion of the Healing Hearts, Women’s Trauma Healing Series, a ten-part program offering Christ-centered healing for women across the Middle East. The need to reach women of all faiths is urgent, as so many face common traumas—such as female genital mutilation, poverty, domestic violence, and displacement—that transcend religious and cultural lines and require compassionate, hope-centered healing.

Initially created for online use, the series found a new home on national satellite networks—proof of how the Holy Spirit carries the work far beyond our original vision.
Beginning January 2026, the series will air on AlHorrya Network, a TBN-operated satellite channel reaching millions. Al Majd in Cairo has also shown a strong interest in its 2026 lineup.

Bridging Local & Global Healing

Global Community of Practice in Kenya, Africa

From national broadcasts to small healing circles, the heart of Life Focus Media remains the same: bringing Christ’s hope to people who are hurting. This year, we were honored to join the Global Community of Practice in Kenya.

There, we learned that the simple radio programs we created in 2016 are now spreading far beyond national broadcasts. They are being shared through “suitcase broadcasts”—portable transmitters carried into remote villages. These small, mobile radios spark healing conversations in places no traditional media can reach.

Our trauma healing radio production in 2016.What began as a small beginning has grown into a Spirit-led movement reaching hearts we could never reach on our own.

Over 500 trauma-healing facilitators gathered to share their experiences.

Mona Hennein leads a radio and media workshop at the event.
